A child with a Jabal Foundation meal parcel in Gaza
ActiveEmergency relief · Gaza, Palestine

A hot meal in the hardest place to deliver one.

Families in Gaza are living through a food crisis that has outlasted every prediction. We fund cooked meals through partners who are already there, and we publish what comes back.

How it works

Getting food in when access is the problem.

We are honest about the limits here. We do not have our own staff inside Gaza, so this program runs on partners, and the reporting we can publish depends on what they can safely send back.

01

You give to the Gaza meals fund

Gifts are pooled so we can send a meaningful amount at once rather than trickling small transfers into a hard operating environment.

02

Funds reach a vetted local partner

We work with organisations already operating inside Gaza who we have an established relationship and open line of communication with. We do not route money through government entities.

03

Meals are cooked and handed out locally

Food is bought and prepared inside Gaza wherever the market allows it, which keeps money in the local economy and gets hot food to people faster.

04

The partner reports back with evidence

We ask for photographs and a written account of each distribution before we close it in our books and publish it.

What we will tell you if it stops.

We have paused Gaza fundraising before, in an earlier phase of the war, when access restrictions meant we could not verify that distributions were reaching people. We said so at the time and we stopped taking money for it.

That remains the standard. If verification becomes impossible again, this page will say so and the fund will close until it does not. We would rather lose the donation than take it for work we cannot stand behind.

Feed a family in Gaza.

Your gift is pooled, sent through a partner already on the ground, and reported back.
