The Program

Why we teach as well as feed.

A food parcel covers a week. Knowing how to use a computer, or hold a conversation in English, changes what work a young person can apply for. That is why we started teaching in Cirebon in May 2024, alongside the meals we were already delivering.

Students come from low-income households in Cirebon, West Java, and many of their families already receive weekly meals from our Indonesia Meals program. Our field team runs the day to day: they find and vet the instructors, and report back to the board as the program moves.
